The terms and conditions set out below apply to all bookings made through this website for “La Rondavelle”. When you access, browse or use this website, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to be bound by these use terms and conditions as may be endorsed at the time of check in.

RATES & PRICING

All rates are quoted per person, per night and are subject to availability and alteration. Your price is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation. Discounted rates quoted are limited offers and are similarly subject to availability and any applicable conditions. Although rooms may be available at the time of enquiry, rooms available under special offers will however be limited. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, La Rondavelle does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information at any time. Should guests wish to change the selected dates, number of nights stay or number of guests, then rates are subject to change.

RESERVATIONS

A reservation is only deemed to be confirmed once we have processed either a deposit or full payment. Unless otherwise requested, we will email a confirmation of your reservation to your nominated email address. Please note that different terms, conditions and cancellation policies may apply to special offers or promotional rates. Guests are requested to carefully read rates details provided before making their reservation. You must be over 18 years of age to make a reservation. In the unlikely event that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot provide your requested accommodation, alternative accommodation or a full refund will be offered.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

In order to confirm your reservation, we require your credit or debit card details at the time of booking. A deposit of 50 % of the total value of your reservation will be applied at the time of your reservation to guarantee your booking. Unless otherwise requested, La Rondavelle will email a confirmation of your reservation to your nominated email address. Balance of payment will be due prior to arrival. Guests reserving accommodation within fourteen (14) days of intended arrival will be required to effect payment for the full cost of their stay at the time of booking.

CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS

Guests cancelling confirmed reservations less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of arrival will normally be charged 50% of the full room rate for each night cancelled. Reservations cancelled before the fourteen (14) days period will result in any monies paid being refunded, less the 25% deposit and any associated bank charges. If guests fail to cancel their reservation, the entire cost of the booking will be charged to the guests credit/debit card, or their booking agents account. Cancellations and amendments to bookings should be notified by telephone or email and are effective from the date and time of acknowledged receipt by La Rondavelle reservations office.

TEMPORARY COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY

Guest who planned to stay at La Rondavelle and can’t for a cause reliable at the Covid 19 pandemic (closed borders, cancelled flight , positif Covid 19-test) may modify their reservation for a later date without any modification fees subject to availability and applicable rates and conditions or request a credit voucher for the full amount of the original booking value for use at a future date. If the hotel is closed at the date of your stay, or if the hotel is not allowed to accommodate the guest based on official orders, you can cancel your reservation free of charge and receive a full refund.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Our standard check-in time is from 2pm to 6pm on day of arrival; with check-out before 10am on day of departure. We will, of course, endeavor to accommodate both earlier check-ins and later check-outs whenever it is possible, but this is strictly by prior request and may, under certain circumstances, incur a surcharge.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION

La Rondavelle reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individual's stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behavior or as a result of actions likely to offend or endanger other guests or staff. Guests are liable for any damage or loss caused by them during their stay at our properties and will be required to pay the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy the damage or loss.

CHILDREN

La Rondavelle welcomes children at all times, however we do not offer purpose-designed “Family Rooms”. Children may qualify for discounted rates when sharing a room with two paying adults where a suitable room is available. Children over the age of 13 will normally require their own rooms and pay full adult rates. Children may be excluded from certain events, promotions or areas of the hotel deemed, at the sole discretion of management, inappropriate or unsuitable. Guests travelling with children are advised to discuss your requirements with our reservations team before making a booking.

GUESTS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY

La Rondavelle endeavors to offer the same high quality facilities to our less able bodied guests. We will do our best to accommodate any special requirements for all guests and kindly request you communicate any specific needs with our reservations team at the time of booking your stay. Note that La Rondavelle is situated at Lake Shore, on a sandy area. Some outside places could be not accessible for roll chairs. Guides dogs are welcome in all our hotels.

PETS

La Rondavelle welcomes the family's pet dog to accompany our guests during their visit at the rate of $2 by night. The breed & size of dog must be declared at the time of reservation.  Any damage done by pets while staying at the property must be paid for by the dog’s owner (replacement cost). This includes damage in the garden. Dogs are not allowed on furniture so if you think your pet will jump on furniture, please bring a sheet/blanket to cover the furniture. Do not leave your pets unattended inside and outside your room. La Rondavelle is also a welcoming place for much kind of animals (pets, farms and wild animals); the dogs can’t present any danger for them.

SMOKING

Rondavelle does not permit smoking in any of the guest rooms nor internal common areas. Guests are advised that if evidence of smoking is detected in a bedroom after a guest has checked out, an additional charge, equal to one night’s full room rate, may be applied to their payment card without notice. Terraces and gardens are available for the convenience of guests who wish to smoke outside.

CAR PARKING

Secure parking is provided within the estate at no additional charge. Guests are advised that La Rondavelle accepts no responsibility for vehicles parked on our property.

COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS

We take our guests satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our properties should be made in the first instance to the duty manager at the time of your stay so that we can attempt to resolve it immediately. Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified by email to the Managing Director as soon as possible to: larondavelle.chilumba@gmail.com

PRIVACY STATEMENT

At La Rondavelle, the privacy and protection of personal data are treated with the utmost seriousness. Our privacy statement sets out the data protection practices within the company. We specifically state that we will : obtain and process information fairly ; keep it only for one or more specified, explicit and lawful purpose ; use and disclose it only in ways compatible with these purposes ; keep it safe and secure ; keep it accurate, complete and up to date ; ensure that it is adequate, relevant and not excessive ; retain it for no longer than is necessary for the purpose or purposes intended ; give a copy of his/her personal data to that individual, on written request. If at any time you believe that La Rondavelle and its website have not adhered to these principles, please notify La Rondavelle by e-mail at larondavelle.chilumba@gmail.com  and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.

 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law and courts in which the property is domicile and the respective law shall have jurisdiction over any matter arising out of or in connection with them.
